Zamunda online again for users outside Bulgaria

Zamunda is the biggest bulgarian torrent tracker. It's not a specialized tracker, so you can find whatever you want. It's with closed signups and no invite system. The good news is that the signups become open from time to time when some of the users are banned. Don't be afraid if you don't know bulgarian - the site has English translation and also a small part of the forum is dedicated to foreign users. In two words - the tracker is very friendly to all users.

Since the tracker is originally planned to be for Bulgarian users, you have to set your language to English after you register. You can do so by clicking the English flag next to your username in the top left corner.

Note: All the comments on the torrents are written in Bulgarian, so you will probably not understand them, but if you want to ask something, you can always drop a comment in English or write in the international forums/ you will surely be answered/

SwePiracy raided by police

Swepiracy servers and keypersons were raided by police authorities in the Netherlands and Sweden.

SP servers where hosted in Netherlands and was sized by Dutch Police and peoples behind SwePiracy was arrested by Swedish Police. Whole action was created by swedish anti-piracy agency Antipiratbyrån.

Antipiratbyrån has targeted almost 100 private swedish trackers. Last time they raided TTi but after month TTi was back as The Internationals.

Rumors said that again Ti and Sparvar are next on the Antipiratbyrån "list".

TrackeReactor is back

The site has been back for about a week now if you haven't noticed already. I was going to make this announcement much sooner, but I wanted to wait until most of the glitches were fixed. Sorry I have not been around much lately. Between work and the fact I recently injured my arm pretty badly I have tried to limit the amount of time I spend on the computer. It looks like I will need surgery from the few people I've talked to so wish me luck. I'm hoping for the best. I thought reopening the forums was the best thing for TR since it seemed like a lot of you guys wanted the site back up. So I did everything I could to make that possible. I won't be as active as I once was, but I'll try my best to be around as much as I can once I find out more about my arm. TrackeReactor Will be Closing the End of September

Well guys, it's been a great long 4 years. I've met a lot of special people here and even met a few of you in real life. Some of you I consider very good friends and have become people I really care about and love. This site has meant a lot to me and has gotten me through a lot over the past few years. I opened it in the beginning of college as an incoming freshman and it gave me something to do with my free time. I went through a lot those years of my life. Between moving out to a new school, living on my own, taking new classes and my parents going through a divorce it was a tough time for me. TR became a place not just about BitTorrent and obtaining invites to private trackers, but a place for me hang out, meet a different variety of people all over the world, and discuss a wide variety of topics without feeling like people were judging me. I really did not expect the site to get as big as it did or even for it to be around this long. BitTorrent just is not the same anymore and I have lost interest in it, but that does not mean I will forget you guys or my friends. We all experienced a lot over the years and TR will always be in my heart and I hope you won’t forget about it either. We were one of the first BiTtorrent invite sites out there and we took over a lot of our competition taking over TorrentInvites.com and Tracker-Invites.US. We will always be remembered as the site that set politics aside and all that other bullshit and focused on friends and community. After all it was the power of community that made us get this far and kept us together. We could not have gotten as far as we did without our strong community and the driven staff members who used their free time to keep our site strong and safe. If you’d like to pay a tribute to TR please do so in the post. Let us know how TR changed your life, why you loved the site and the history. Entire database was stolen from popular Polish tracker TorrentLeech.pl (including passwords and IP addresses of users). According to a burglar, publishing of this informations could been avoided, but tracker owners completely ignored the attacker, Some hashed password have been already broken and published.

Burglar calling himself as White Hacker, yesterday took over admins accounts and send message to all TL.pl users that week earlier he found a critical gap in tracker code. Admins have ignored him, removed his accound and repaired critical gap. But database have leaked to internet as a warning for TL.pl admins that they should never ignored him.

This is only about making a tracker to funnel as much money as possible through its users and turn and spit on you if your against there interests. Trackon is a service to monitor the status and health of existing open and public trackers that anyone can use. A meta-tracker if you will. You can add any of the tracker announce URLs listed here to any of your torrents, or submit any other open/public trackers you might know of.

Possible status values:

• Excellent: The tracker was reachable, returned a valid response that included peers.
• Ok: The tracker was reachable, and while it returned a valid response, it didn't include any peers.
• Error:The tracker was either unreachable or returned some kind of error. For a detailed error message see tooltip.

How is the uptime calculated? 

 

Uptime is calculated based on the percentage of valid responses to the last 64 attempts to contact the tracker. Etiv and The Nation invites forums merge

Hello Nation,
I know it’s been a long time since anyone has heard from us unless you come by the irc to see what’s going on but then you still might not have been able to get much of an answer. MKZ has been gone for a while now taking care of his health and might have just moved on from running the forum. Staff have been busy taking care of things in real life.
It’s not that we want T-N to close one bit but we do think it in the best interest to do so. We don’t have the time, money and a few others things needed to run the site properly. So with this happening we will be closing the doors here and merging over to Etiv so that everyone still has a home. There will still be staff from T-N being staff at Etiv and everyone will be moved in to their appropriate rank/user class.
Sorry for not much of a notice but this is just the best thing we can do for our forum. Having our members a home is my main priority.

A site, http://www.seednation.net/ has come up and they are offering something that is literally too good to be true. A free seedbox. Here is the bad news boys and girls, with such things, if it sounds too good to be true, it generally is.
So far, I have seen reports of stolen passkeys, stolen accounts, stolen invites and the like. I can’t tell you what to do or don’t do, however, if you find your passkey or the like is stolen you will receive zero sympathy from staff for this.
So what is the point of this mass PM. Simply this, you use this exceptionally dodgy site at your own risk, and if you have been found to have been compromised, after you have received this warning (25/10/2010 at 20:15 GMT) you will have lost your account here. There will be no exceptions, there will be no.. “Oh I’m sorry I didn’t know.” Use this site at your own peril, but be aware that if your passkey or otherwise is found to have been compromised your account WILL be disabled, and any other private trackers you are on will probably toss you as well.

Welcome back!

As you've no doubt guessed by now, there have been some drastic changes here at TPS.

We are under new management. This was NOT planned, and it was NOT some sort of hostile takeover. Everything that has been done was done as a last resort to save TPS.

When TPS went down on October 5th, we discovered that the server bills had not been paid in several months. Rather than pay the bills, the go-ahead was given by the previous staff to shut the site down without possibility of return. Working with the hosting company, bubbl3 and pisshivers paid the outstanding balance and took over administration of the servers.

As many of you are aware, TPS has experienced plenty of internal turmoil in recent months; many good staff and members alike have been either banned or chased off by a few power-hungry individuals. Whether through neglect, tacit agreement, or outright support, these individuals were not reigned in and essentially ruled with an iron fist banning or alienating all who opposed them. If you questioned their practices, you were "against" them. This obviously goes against everything we've stood for in the past: disagree all you want, voice it without repercussions. You may not get your way, but no one will be punished for their views.

The money was another big issue. Where do we stand on donations? Are we still partnered with so-and-so? How much is coming in? How much are the server bills? Does TPS need more help? Do we have a surplus? Who's handling the money? From now on, TPS is going to be completely transparent about the money. We plan on updating the community about donations, payments, balances, etc.

For these and other reasons, TPS will be running with a small staff, a skeleton crew, for a bit while we figure out where to go from here. Before the downtime, things had become quite bloated and out of control at TPS, and we are working to get back to the TPS that we all knew and loved. A few changes that are readily noticeable are:

• Transparency.
• Staff changes. Some of the familiar staff may return, some won't.
• The Pirate Academy is shut down and the information contained within it will be turned in a Beginner's Guide.
• Rather than interviews, we will be using a web submission form.
• The reputation system will be revamped. Currently, we are leaning toward removing reps for invite and possibly going to a Request-Only system; no Giveaways.
• The NML/LML will be revisited and likely revamped.
• The Rules will be revised. This is not kindergarten; we don't need or want to babysit.

As far as the .info domain goes, it was the only way to get TPS up and running again. The owners of .com, .org, and .net were either unreachable or uncooperative. As far as we're concerned, TPS was abandoned. This is not some clone of TPS trying to steal members; this is TPS moved to .info. Make no mistake, there are some hard feelings with some of the old staff. Whether those will be mended in the future is difficult to say at this point. We will not drag anyone through the mud, however, and you can see that all names have been left out of this post.

"Back in the day" all ideas, suggestions, critiques, and complaints were welcomed at TPS. We assure you all that those days have returned. Feel free to POLITELY discuss anything and everything.
